George I (1714-1727), Shillings (14), Roses and Plumes Issues (10), 1715 (ESC 1162; Bull 1560; S.3645), porous and surface marked, fair; also, 1716 (ESC 1163 [R3]; Bull 1562 [R3]; S.3645), rubbed and formerly gilt, otherwise only fair but rare; also, 1717 (ESC 1164; Bull 1564; S.3645), fair; also, 1719 (ESC 1166 [R2]; Bull 1567 [R2]; S.3645), rubbed, poor / fair; also, 1720, 'Large O', seven strings to harp (2) (ESC 1167; Bull 1569), both with scuffs to portrait, otherwise fair to fine for strike; another, 1721 over 0 (ESC 1171; Bull 1578), scuffed and lightly cleaned, otherwise a bolder fine, the overdate delightfully crisp; and, 1722 (2) (ESC 1174; Bull 1581; S.3645), the first lightly porous, the second with a metal flaw to neck, otherwise both good to fair; lastly, 1725, second bust (ESC 1184; Bull 1599; S.3649), love-tokened and straightened, with a dark cabinet tone, mediocre / fine; additionally, Plain Issues (4), 1720 (3) (ESC 1168; Bull 1572), with smaller and larger O in date, with overt die breaks, one removed from a solder mount, otherwise fair to fine; also, 1721, as last (ESC 1170; Bull 1577 [R4]; S.3646), removed from a mount at 12 o'clock, otherwise lightly cleaned, only fair / fine, but rare (14)
