William III, Solus (1694-1702), Crown, 1696 OCTAVO, first laureate and draped bust, rev. crowned cruciform shields, plain in angles, six strings to first harp, edge lettered upwards, 29.84g, 6h (ESC 89; Bull 995; S.3470), once wiped, die flaw at 12 o'clock and some die rust to reverse, otherwise with a somewhat bright flashy lustre, and blue hues in the recesses, good very fine
