Charles I (1625-1649), Civil War Issues, Royalist Issues, Bridgnorth-On-Severn, Groat, 1646, crowned and draped bust left, value behind, plumelet before, rev. declaration in three lines, 2.04g [31.48grns], 1h, i.m. plume (Morrieson, Lundy A; Brooker 1133 same dies; North 2525; S.3042), flan split at 11 o'clock, toned in hues of purple and blue to reverse, a superb cabinet piece, a really good very fine and very rare in this state
