PER : CRVCE ': TVA ': SALVA ': nOS : XPE : RED, ship surmounted by square-topped shield and mast dividing h and rose, double saltire stops, 2h, 4.98g [76.85grns], m.m. pheon / cross-crosslet, (Schneider II, 538; North 1698; S.2187), lightly crimped, softly struck and subsequently bizarrely tooled with the addition of beaded rims probably in the 19th Century, struck details scarcely fine
