Iron Age Britain, Catuvellauni, Uninscribed Coinage (c. 60-20 BC), AV Stater, 'Middle Whaddon Chase' Type, crossed wreaths, opposing voided crescents in centre, symbols in quarters, rev. horse right, wing motif and pellets above, wheel below, 5.68g [87.66grns] (VA 1487; BMC 331-335; ABC 2442; S.32), minor fissures, otherwise attractively centred and handsomely struck up, a pleasing very fine
