Iron Age Britain, Corieltauvi, Dvmnocoveros Tigirseno (AD 25-35), AV Stater, vertical wreath dividing DV-MN in tablet, ring motifs in quarters, rev. lunate horse left, trefoil of pellets before, TIGIR above, [S]ENO below, 5.43g [83.80grns], 11h (VA 972-1; BMC 3325-3327; ABC 1971; S.414), minor striking fissure, otherwise largely centred and beautifully struck up for type, almost extremely fine, and equally rare in this exemplary condition
