Charles William Fisher was born in 1898 and was a native of Bristol. His T.E.M. was awarded in February 1923. With the outbreak of the Second World War, he saw active service in North Africa with the Royal Armoured Corps. Fisher was discharged (Para 29 XIIa) from the 57th Training Regiment on13 December 1942, his campaign awards sent in September 1948 to his address at 37 St. Nicholas Road, St. Paul's, Bristol.
