Hampshire Banking Company, proof £5, Newport, dated 18--, the Hampshire Banking Company is not listed specifically in Outing and as no individuals from the bank are named on the note, it is hard to distinguish. Jones, Loyd & Co. are the London agents listed under Outing 2719 circa. 1808-1864. Although notes for both of these are 'not seen', they both are later taken over by National Westminster Bank, which later became NatWest. This is also the case for the agents Jones, Loyd & Co., as Outing 2719 describes their later absorption by National Westminster Bank, uniface,
