specimen notes and coins accompanied by descriptions in Hungarian, Russian, English, German, and French. Coin texts detail material, weight, size, and description of each coin.

Album together with two reproduced letters detailing more about the specific set. The first letter, dated 18th October 1992, is addressed to a member of the Hungarian National Bank asking for more information about the album. The second letter, dated 13th November 1992 from Erika Garami, provides the requested detail. She writes that the specimen album was first published in 600 copies in 1973, with the purpose "to form the basis of the modern collection of the future Banknote and Coin Collection which was established in 1974, and also to present the specimen banknotes to the different banks of issue."

This is an unusual set and one which presents the rare opporunity of owning a piece of modern Hungarian banking history
(Pick 168s1, 169s1, 170s2, 171s3), all notes with red "MINTA" overprint and perforation, uncirculated, in black presentation holder that fits into red cloth sleeve (10 notes, 18 coins)
