Perforated 14
Two Shillings

2/- deep black and light blue, no gash headplate, horizontal pair [2-3], no gash in Queen's ear, proving dot in left margin, unused with some gum which is slightly disturbed (one theory being the pair possibly emanated from a fiscal document, and which remained uncancelled, although several leading specialists dispute this theory), strong colours; the left-hand stamp with four pinholes though of presentable appearance and the only recorded multiple of this exceptionally rare stamp. An exceedingly rare positional multiple with only six other single examples recorded to date. Originally with P.F.S.A. Certificate (2002), not now present. RSC E
