Over 16,000 coins bearing variants of the Bhujavi / Bhujavira, Bhujaba (la) legend were found in Kodur in the Nellore District in 1913, and it is still uncertain exactly who issued them, but they are usually ascribed to the Telegu-Chodas. Many rulers in the area of Nellore and Cuddapah assumed the title Bhujabalavira during this period.
