Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Mestrelle's Milled Issues, Sixpence, 1564, Tower [Upper House], elaborate large broad bust, small rose behind, rev. cross pattée dividing shield, 3.08g [57.53grns], m.m. star (North 2028; S.2597), previously creased, now flattened, hints of tone to fields, fine; and, Threepence, 1562, Tower [Upper House], tall narrow decorated bust, medium rose behind, rev. cross fourchée dividing shield, 1.43g [22.07grns], m.m. star (North 2034; S.2603), scratch over the bust and to the left of the shield, creased, toned, approaching fine, and a far scarcer coin than the Sixpence under Mestrelle (2)
