Sassanid Persia, a Trio of Drachmae (3): i) Khosrow I (AD 531-579), Veh Kavad mint, dated RY 27 = AD 556/7, crowned bust right, with portrait flanked by star and star above crescent, rev. fire altar flanked by attendants, star and crescent, 4.12g, very fine; ii) Khosrow II (AD 590-628), 'DL' mint, dated RY 27 = AD 617/18, crowned bust right, wearing mural crown, rev. as before, iii) Ardashir III (AD 628-630), dated RY 2 = AD 629-630, crowned bust right, ribbon over right shoulder, crescent over left, rev. fire altar flanked by attendants, ribbon star and crescent surrounding the flames, RY to left, mint to right, 4.15g (Göbl I/1), very fine, nice find patina; (3).
