Fonteius C. f., struck 85 BC, EX A P, laureate head of Vejovis (or Apollo) right, [thunderbolt] below, rev. infant winged Genius (or Cupid) seated on goat standing right, pilei of the Dioscuri left and right, thyrsus tied with fillet in exergue, all within laurel wreath, 3.68g (Crawford 353/2; Sydenham 726), toned, about very fine; ii) M. Licinius L. f. Macer, 84 BC, diadmed bust of Vejovis (or Apollo) left, drapery over shoulder, hurling thunderbolt, rev. Minerva, holding spear, reins and shield, driving galloping quadriga right, C LICINIVS L F MACER in two lines in exergue, 3.57g (Crawford 354/1; Sydenham 732), some roughness, good fine; iii) L. Julius Bursio, struck 85 BC, laureate, winged and draped bust of Genius or Apollo Vejovis right, trident and double-headed ax behind, rev. Victory driving quadriga right, L IVLI BVRSIO in exergue, 3.83g (Crawford 352/1a; Sydenham 728), dark tone, good fine to very fine; iv) L. Marcus Censorinus, struck 82 BC, laureate head of Apollo right, rev. L. CENSOR, Satyr Marsyas walking left, raising right hand, bag in left hand over left shoulder, column bearing statue to right, 3.78g (Crawford 363/1d; Sydenham 737), struck slightly off-centre, lovely dark blue tone, very fine; (4).
