ROMA, oath-taking scene, two soldiers facing each other, each of them holding sword and spear, both touching the blades of their swords to a pig, held by a man kneeling left, looking right, 3.92g (Crawford 234/1; Sydenham 527), nice portrait, toned, good fine to very fine; ii) M. Furius L. f. Philus, 120 BC, M FOVRI L F, laureate head of bearded Janus, rev. ROMA, Roma standing left, holding wreath and sceptre, trophy of Gallic arms to left, flanks by a carynx and shield to each side, star above, PHLI in exergue, 3.91g (Crawford 281/1; Sydenham 529), good fine; iii) Anonymous, c. 115-114 BC, head of Roma right, wearing winged and crested Corinthian helmet, X behind, ROMA below, rev.
