Lentulus Spinther, Legate, AR Denarius, Military Mint Travelling with Brutus and Cassius, probably at Smyrna, struck early 42 BC, C CASSI IMP LEIBERTAS, diademed head of Libertas right, rev. emblems of the augurate: capis and lituus, LENTVLVS SPINT below, 3.58g (Crawford 500/7; Sydenham 1310), lovely golden-blue tone, detailed, well-centred, flan crack to 12 o'clock, but otherwise lovely and about extremely fine
