A Pair of Italian Bronzes (2): i) Campania, Neapolis, AE, struck c. 250-225 BC, laureate head of Apollo left, rev. lyre resting against omphalos, NEOPOLITON below, caduceus in exergue, 5.50g (HN Italy 592; Taliercio IVa; SNG ANS 530), toned, lovely green patina, test cut to edge but otherwise good very fine; ii) Lucania, Metapontum, AE, head of Athena left, wearing crested Corinthian helmet, rev. three grains radiating from centre, M-E and crossed torch at angles, 2.47g (Johnston Bronze 50; HN Italy 1686; SNG Morcom 289), light patina, residually lustrous, good very fine; (2).
