George III (1760-1820), Third Issue, 'Cartwheel' Pennies (3), 1797, Soho, laureate and draped bust facing right, wreath with 10/11 leaves, rev. Britannia seated facing left, plain edge, 28.69g, 6h; 27.61g, 6h; 28.14g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 460; BMC [Peck] 1132; S.3777), one with 10 leaves, the other with 11, one retains traces of residual lustre, a couple of bruises about the edges but otherwise very fine; and Fourth Issue, Penny, Soho, 1806, laureate head right, rev. Britannia seated left, edge obliquely grained, 18.75g, 6h (cf. Pywell-Phillips 470; BMC [Peck] 1342; S.3780), beginnings of verdigris, but otherwise with much original residual lustre, extremely fine; and Third Issue, Halfpenny, 1799, Soho, laureate and draped bust right, rev. Britannia seated left, edge obliquely grained, 12.67g, 6h (cf. Pywell-Phillips 470; BMC [Peck] 1248; S.3778), some residual original lustre, good very fine; and Counterfeit Halfpennies (3), 1770; 1771; 1775, cuirassed bust right of good style, rev. Britannia seated left holding a spear and olive branch, on globe with shield, date in exergue below, 8.86g, 6h; 9.96g, 5h; 7.31g, 5h (cf. S.3774); and Counterfeit Farthings, 1775 (2), similar to Halfpennies, 4.98g, 6h; 4.40g, 6h (cf. S.3775); and Conder Tokens (2) including Coventry, Halfpenny, 1793, Lady Godiva, rev. Elephant and Castle, 9.86g, 6h (D&H 231); and Middlesex, Farthing, 1793, SR. ISAAC NEWTON., bust to left, rev. FARTHING, caduceus, olive branch, and cornucopia 4.35g, 12h (D&H Mdd. 1151), all good fine to very fine (12)
