George III (1760-1820), Shilling, 1787, laureate and armoured bust right, rev. cruciform shields, no hearts, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.00g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1216; Bull 2125; S.3743); and Shilling, 1787, similar but no dot above head, without semée of hearts, 6.01g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1218; Bull 2133; S.3744), both lightly haymarked, toned and lustrous, very fine; and 'New Coinage' Shillings (3), 1816 (2); 1817, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield within Garter, milled edge, 5.61g, 12h; 5.60g, 12h; 5.65g, 12h (ESC 1228, 1232; Bull 2140, 2146; S.3790), one 1816 hairlined to the portrait, yet with a full lustre, really bold very fine, the others pleasingly toned and with full lustres, good extremely fine; and 'New Coinage', Sixpences (2), 1816; 1817, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield within Garter, milled edge, 2.81g, 12h; 2.79g, 12h (Bull 2191, 2195; ESC 1630, 1632; S.3791), some minor friction marking, yet toned and fully lustrous, extremely fine ; and Sixpences (2), 1787, no hearts, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 2.97g, 12h; 3.00g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1626; Bull 2187; S.3748); and Sixpences (2), with semée of hearts, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 3.00g, 12h; 3.01g, 12h (Pywell-Phillips 419; ESC 1629; Bull 2190; S.3749), all with either minor contact marking or flecking, yet toned and with varying degrees of lustre, very fine (11)
