(x) NGC AU53 | George II (1727-1760), LIMA Halfcrown, 1746 DECIMO NONO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, LIMA below, rev. crowned cruciform shields, nine strings to harp, 6h (ESC 606; Bull 1688; S.3695A), lightly worn at higher points and a handful of contact marks, yet with a rich tone and flashy lustre, good very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU53 (Cert.#5947948-019); also, NGC AU | George IV (1820-1830), Crown, 1821 SECUNDO, laureate head left, rev. St. George and Dragon, edge lettered downwards, 6h (ESC 246; Bull 2310; S.3805), cleaned and bagmarked, yet the obverse now retoning, pleasing detail to the hair, a really bold very fine, better in parts, in NGC holder, graded AU DETAILS ~ CLEANED (Cert.#5963932-011) (2)
