Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, VIGO Shilling, 1703, second draped bust left, VIGO below, rev. crowned cruciform shields, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.95g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 219; ESC 1131 [S]; Bull 1388; S.3586), two edge knocks about 9 o'clock, wiped and soft to the hair, toned, just very fine; and Post-Union, Shillings (2) including 'Plumes', 1707, third draped bust left, rev. four crowned shields cruciform, plumes in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 6.03g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1142 [S]; Bull 1396; S.3611), die flaw to the cheek and through date, otherwise lustrous, bolder very fine; and 1708, similar but plain in angles, obliquely milled edge, 6.02g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 244; ESC 1147; Bull 1399; S.3610), haymarked, the portrait double struck, otherwise with a pearlescent tone to lustrous surfaces, good very fine; also Pre-Union, Sixpence, 1703 VIGO, first bust left, VIGO below, rev. plain in angles, four strings to harp, 2.96g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 222; ESC 1582; Bull 1446; S.3590), a pleasing lustre beneath darkened surfaces, about extremely fine (4)
