Anne (1702-1714), Pre-Union, 'Roses and Plumes', Halfcrown, 1707 SEXTO, first draped bust left, rev. narrow colon to REG, crowned first shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, eight strings to harp, lettered edge upwards, 14.77g, 5h (cf. Pywell-Phillips 216; ESC -; Bull 1365; S.3582), rubbed with adjustment marks to reverse, otherwise now darkly re-toned, approaching very fine; also, Post-Union, Halfcrown, 1707 SEPTIMO, draped bust left, rev. similar, eight strings to harp, angles plain, upwards lettered edge, 14.89g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 236; ESC 574; Bull 1366; S.3604), flecked and softness to higher points, yet speckled toning and with a residual lustre, very fine (2)
