William III, Solus (1694-1702), Shillings (2), 1697, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, obliquely milled edge, 6.03g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 180; ESC 1091; Bull 1117; S.3497), some wear to the higher points but otherwise just very fine; also, 1697, third bust, otherwise similar, 5.95g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips -; ESC 1102; Bull 1128; S.3505), soft to the hair, yet lightly toned, just very fine; additionally, Sixpences (3), 1696, first laureate draped bust right, rev. cruciform shields crowned, three strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 2.91g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips 186; ESC 1533; Bull 1202; S.3520), some wear and flecking, lightly toned, very fine; and, 1696 y, York, similar, early harp, large crowns, 3.05g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips -; Bull 1296; ESC 1539; S.3525), small metal flaw, yet toned and lustrous, pleasing to the hair, about extremely fine; lastly, 1697 E, 'Small 7', Exeter, similar, 3.07g, 6h (Pywell-Phillips -; Bull 1283; ESC 1560C [R2]; S.3534), softly worn, haymarked, very fine (5)
