VILLA : CALISIE :, long cross and trio of pellets in angles, double saltire stops, 3.76g [58.03grns], 10h, m.m. pierced cross (North 1427; S.1836), lightly pitted surfaces from soil deposition, otherwise with a dark and lacquered appearance, a pleasing portrait, toned, very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU Details ~ Environmental Damage (Cert. #6482552-002); and PCGS VG8 | William III, Solus (1694-1702), Crown, 1696 OCTAVO, first laureate and draped bust right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, six strings to early harp, upwards lettered edge, 6h (ESC 89; Bull 995; S.3470), bagmarked and largely flat to the central devices, fine, in PCGS holder, graded VG08 (Cert. #616803.08/42067610); and PCGS F12 | Anne (1702-1714), 'Edinburgh' Halfcrown, 1707 SEXTO, first draped bust left, E below, rev. crowned cruciform shields, seven strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, 5h (ESC 575; Bull 1379; S.3605), contact marked and largely flat, fine, in PCGS holder, graded F12 (Cert. #186910.12/45679835); and George II (1727-1760), LIMA Halfcrown, 1745 DECIMO NONO, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, LIMA below, rev. crowned cruciform shields, plain in angles, nine strings to harp, downwards lettered edge, 6h, (Bull 1687; ESC 605; S.3695), bright and hairlined, flan adjustment marks through the 17 of date, otherwise with a glossy lustre and light tone, very fine, in NGC holder, graded AU Details (Cert. #3222618-012); NGC VF35 | also 'Old Head' Sixpence, 1757, old laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shield, seven strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5h (ESC 1622; Bull 1762; S.3711), some rub to the central devices, otherwise toned to darkened surfaces, just very fine, in NGC holder, graded VF35 (Cert. #5974863-010); an interesting collector's group (5)
