[…]M:ON:C[…], large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle, in centre a small cross in saltire, 1.32g [20.37grns], 9h (North 952/2; S.1337), struck off centre, dark tone, rare, good fine; another, Norwich, Picot, + hENRICVS REX, similar, rev. [P]ICOT [ON] : NOR, similar, 1.41g [21.76grns], 2h (BMC 671; North 952/2; S.1337), flat in parts on a hexagonal flan, good fine; lastly, Class F1, struck AD 1165-1168, Ipswich, Turstain, [+HENR]I REX, crowned bust facing wearing armour and mantle with sceptre in right hand, collar continued over shoulder, no ornament below sweep, trefoil of pellets in angle, rev. +TV[R]STAIN : ON : GIP, large cross potent with small cross potent in each angle, in centre a small cross in saltire, 1.47g [22.69grns], 2h (Sadler III 1485 = Dawson & Mayhew, "A Continental Find Including Tealby Pennies" [BNJ 57, 1987]; North 961/1; S.1342), iridescent toning, mainly flat in centres, previously unknown dies, good fine (3)
