GOD • SAVE • THE • KING, king and queen enthroned, attended by Britannia and the British lion, Westminster Abbey behind, HOMAGE OF THE BRITISH o EMPIRE 1911, in exergue in two lines, plain edge, 36mm, 22.34g (Eimer 1921c; BHM 4023), wiped yet with areas of darker toning to the peripheries, soft strike as usual for type, about extremely fine; another, AE Medal, 1911, by G. Bowcher for Spink & Son, as before, plain edge, 36mm, 18.28g, (Eimer 1921a; BHM 4023), matte and light brown surfaces, much as struck ; another, AE Medal, 1911, by G. Bowcher for Spink & Son, as before, plain edge, 63mm, 93.30g (Eimer 1921b; BHM 4023), soft rub to the higher points of the reverse, otherwise with pleasing light brown surfaces and traces of red to the recesses, about as struck (3)
