FROM MY HEART I THANK MY BELOVED PEOPLE MAY GOD BLESS THEM V.R.I., Londinia, with attendants, presents a garland to Britannia seated before her, 1837-1897 in exergue, plain edge, 76mm, 234.45g, (Eimer 1815; BHM 3510), some bruising and pinmarking throughout, touch of contact wear to the higher points, otherwise with glossy surfaces and near brilliant, extremely fine; another, AE Medal, 1897, by F. Bowcher for Spink & Son, VICTORIA D : G : BRITT : REGINA F : D : IND : IMP : IN COMMEMOR . AN . REG . SEXAGESIMI, crowned, laureate and draped bust left, MDCCCXCVII below, rev. THE ROYAL FAMILY, Royal coat of arms, with ten shields around representing a member of the Royal Family, GLADYS E. BAILEY. FROM HER GRANDFATHER W.F.B. 1897, on edge, 51mm, 53.77g, (BHM 3512), evenly toned and with a flashy lustre to the fields, about as struck; another, AR Medal, 1897, by F. Bowcher for Spink and Sons, VICTORIA . DEI . GRA : BRITT : REGINA . FID : DEF : IND : IMP, crowned, laureate and draped bust left, IN COMMEMORATION ANNI REGNI in field, LX and spray of oak behind, MDCCCXCVII below, rev. coat of arms of Great Britain, with smaller shields inscribed with the various realms within the commonwealth around, plain edge, 76mm, 133.35g, (Eimer 1816; BHM 3511), cleaned and some contact marks in the fields, nevertheless now with a light blanket of golden toning, about extremely fine (3)
