Coronation of George IV, AE Medal, 1821, by Thomason and Jones, GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR : REX F : D :, draped and laureate bust left, floral wreath with emblems around, rev. ANTE PROBATA MINISTRAT., King enthroned, crowned by Britannia, Scotia and Hibernia, CORON : XIX JUL : A : D : MDCCCXXI in exergue in two lines, plain edge, 54mm, 63.98g (BHM 1091; Eimer 1143), cleaned and with a resulting red hue to the fields, nonetheless a handsomely struck and intricate die, otherwise problem free, thus extremely fine; another, AE Medal, 1821, by Halliday and Kempson, GEORGIUS IV . D : G BRITT : REX F : D :, laureate bust left, rev. the king enthroned and crowned by bishops, GEO : IV . CORONAT : MDCCCXXI ., in exergue in two lines, plain edge, 49mm, 48.83g (BHM 1073), scratch to the obverse field and a touch of wear to the highest of points, otherwise lustrous to dark chocolate brown surfaces, extremely fine; another, AE Medal, 1821, by Rundell, Bridge & Rundell, GEORGIVS IV DEI GRATIA BRITANNIARVM REX, laureate and armoured bust facing left, rev. ACCESSIT XXIX IAN . MDCCCXX in three lines, within wreath, plain edge, 70mm, 123.64g (Eimer 1141; BHM 1088), previously cleaned and bagmarked, yet now with a flash of blue tone to brown surfaces, a very good very fine; another, AE Medal, 1821, by G. Mills, GEORGIVS IV BRITANNIARUM REX, bare head right, rev. PRO REGE DIMICO, King's Champion, armoured and plumed, on horseback, CORONAT JULII XIX MDCCCXXI, in exergue in two lines, plain edge, 55mm, 82.32g (Eimer 1142; BHM 1087), cleaned and lightly contact marked, nevertheless now toned with a red and purple hue, very fine; finally, AE Medal, 1821, by T. Wyon Jr. and B. Wyon, GEORGIVS IV D : G : BRITANNIARVM REX F: D :, laureate and draped bust right, rev. MAGNUS SÆCLORUM NASCITUR ORDO, Britannia seated, with lion, trident and shield, spray or rose, thistle and shamrock in exergue, plain edge, 50mm, 71.04g, (BHM 1101; Eimer 1144), lightly bagmarked, nevertheless with a residual lustre to dark brown surfaces, very good very fine (5)
