Coronation of George IV, Frosted Silver and Lunette Medal, 1820, [by J. G. Hancock], GEORGE IV ASCENDED THE BRITISH THRONE JAN 29 1820 IN THE 58 YEAR OF HIS AGE, laureate bust left, rev. CORONATION AT WESTMINSTER JULY 19 1821, crown, below, GR IV, within a wreath of roses, thistles and shamrocks, 47mm, 63.56g (BHM 1077), mounted for suspension as occasionally encountered, some friction marking to otherwise fully frosted fields, the lunettes clear and fully intact, good extremely fine, very scarcely encountered in this metal with suspension, thus rare in commerce
