RELIGIONE • FIDE ET CONSTANTIA, Religion standing, gives fortitude to Faith, MDCCCXVII in exergue, plain edge, 41mm, 40.52g (Eimer 1102; BHM 93; Mudie 1), wiped and some very minor hairlining to the fields, red deposits to the recesses of the laureate, otherwise with a rich cabinet tone to lustrous fields, most strikingly with flashes of ochre to the reverse, handsomely struck up and extremely fine
