Turko-Hephthalite, Vasu Deva (Sri Vajara Vakhudeva) (c. 620-80), Drachm, 3.28g, bust of king right wearing winged crown with head of lion above, gold insert in neck, rev. fire altar with attendants, legends in both Pahlavi and Brahmi (Gobl, Dokumente, Em. 244; Sunrise 1037var), with usual Hephthalite countermark, toned very fine / about very fine, scarce; Kings of Bukhara, Bactria (c.700-85), base metal Drachm, 1.86g, bust of king right, rev. crude representation of fire altar and attendants (MAC 1395-6), fine, both with designs copied from those on Sasanian coins (2)
