Bank of England, Sarah John, polymer £20, 5 June 2024, serial number EH01 000067, purple, King Charles III at right and in a transparent window at left with text £20 BANK OF ENGLAND. Margate lighthouse in gold and Turner Contemporary in blue also appear over the window, a second smaller window based on Tintern Abbey low right. Reverse, purple, a self-portrait of J. M. W. Turner and his painting The Fighting Temeraire in field, a purple foil patch at upper right with letter 'T' which is based on the staircase at Tate Britain.
