A wonderful selection of Empire (mostly) varieties and better items contained in a large red stockbook, including Bahamas 1938-52 1/- on thin striated paper (KGVI Certificate 2015), Basutoland, Bermuda 1924-32 10/- "Break in lines below left scroll", Brunei, Cyprus 1928 British Rule set, Gibraltar 1938-51 2d. perf. 13½ watermark sideways, 2/- "Bird on Monument" flaw, Grenada 1938-50 3d. "Extra Window" variety contained in a block of 12, Hong Kong, India, Ireland 1922 Dollard ½d. overprint inverted, 4d. carmine overprint block of four, 1937 2/6d. to 10/-, Kenya 1959 Official 50c. overprint double used on piece, Leeward Islands, Malta, Mauritius with a good selection of varieties on the George VI issue, postal stationery, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa 1913-24 £1 pale olive-green and red, 1930-44 2d. both shades with the "Air Ship" flaw, 1933-48 6d. "Ladder" and "Molehill" varieties each contained n blocks of four (2 bilingual pairs), 1935 Jubilee set in bilingual pairs with Cleft Skull varieties, Zambia, Zanzibar, etc., unused, original gum, unmounted mint and used, condition mixed with some forgeries but chiefly fine and a most interesting and valuable lot
