1931 (29 Dec.) envelope to Calcutta sent on the first flight from Karachi to Delhi via the Feeder Service, franked with 3p. and 1a. strip of three tied by 'karachi' c.d.s. and with 'first flight/ delhi flying club' handstamp in violet, endorsed 'karachi-delhi' at left and signed on the reverse 'Stephen H. Smith'. fine and scarce

At the end of December 1931, the India State Air Service ceased to exist and the Karachi-Delhi service feeding the Imperial Airways Karachi-London service was run by the Delhi Flying Club, there were one-hundred and seventy-five covers flown.
