The 1909 Grand Duke Adolphe Medal was designed and struck at the Munich Mint for Grand Duchess Maria Anna to commemorate the unveiling of the Country’s Monument (Nassauische Landesdenkmal) to Grand Duke Adolphe, in Wiesbaden. A little over 3,000 Medals are estimated to have been struck.
