William Nathanial Eversley was born in 1873 and was married in Calcutta on 26 December 1911, at that time being a Bridge Inspector for the Bengal-Nagpur Railways. His L.S. Medal was awarded as per I.A.O. 350 of May 1919, serving with the 12th Eastern Bengal Railway Battalion, Indian Defence Force. He died in Calcutta on 4 June 1938, having had issue of three daughters.
