Volunteer Force Long Service Medal (India & the Colonies), G.V.R. (Trooper W. R. Clark, S. Prov. M. Rif. A.F.I.), officially impressed naming, good very fine

William Ross Clark was born at Edinburgh on 29 November 1873 and worked as a Manager for the Ruffer Company, whilst also being a Trooper in the South Provinces Mounted Rifles, being awarded his L.S. Medal as per I.A.O. 491 of June 1926. Having retired to the Kolar Gold Fields, he died at Kodaikanal South on 24 September 1937.
