The Second World War campaign group of four awarded to C. W. Coull, South African Merchant Navy

1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star; Pacific Star, clasp, Burma; War Medal 1939-45, all named in the South African style 'M.N. C. W. Coull', mounted as worn, good very fine and rare (4)

Medals to South Africans within the Merchant Navy were named as in the other services however as a Civilian Coull would have had no service number to go with them.

C. W. Coull was mentioned in The Western Morning News on 3 July 1900 as passing an exam to undertake a trade at Chatham Dockyard; sold together with a copied newspaper extract and a discharge paper with appears to name his last ship as the SS Glenisla.
