George William Morgan was born on 21 December 1864 at Waxholme, Yorkshire and joined the Royal Navy on 19 June 1880. In December 1910 he was 'highly commended for saving the life of a girl aged 13 years' and during the Great War served as Chief Officer; sold together with copied service record.
