Martin Petrus Van Der Walt was born on 12 July 1929 and was a student when he enlisted in the South African Defence Force as a Signaller on 15 April 1944, he was discharged on 16 March 1966; sold together with copied research.

Johannes Petrus Van Der Walt from Bloemfontein enlisted in the Youth Training Brigade on 6 January 1944 and served at home in South Africa. He was admitted to hospital on 23 October 1944 suffering from wounds mainly to his eyes and face from a blast grenade which exploded. He was discharged on 15 August 1946; sold together with extensive copied service papers.
