Edward John Stuart Walker was born on 27 August 1914 and worked as a winding engine driver prior to being mobilised for service in the Second World War. He saw service in Africa and Italy as a fitter before remustering as a cook in January 1945 and being demobilised on 10 August 1945; sold together with copied service papers.
