Efficiency Medal, G.VI.R., Territorial (2584520 Sigmn. R. Sproates. R. Sigs.), very fine

R. Sproates served in France during 1940 and was wounded in action whilst attached to 72nd Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. He was thence taken a Prisoner of War in the Middle East (1942-43) whilst again attached as a Royal Artillery Signal Section.
