Royal Naval Reserve L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (2728T. O. Wynn. Sto. R.N.R.), good very fine
Owen Wynn was born at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire on 17 July 1885. Joining the Royal Naval Reserve in 1910 he was still in service on the outbreak of the Great War. Mobilised for service on 2 August 1914 he was posted to King Alfred on 11 August. Going back ashore on 15 October 1914 he was posted to the drill ship Satellite on 14 April 1915, remaining with her until August 1918 when he went ashore again. Wynn remained in service after the war and was awarded his L.S. & G.C. on 22 January 1923; sold together with copied medal rolls and service records.
