Fredrich Sinia was originally from Austria and was Jewish, he left Austria in 1938 and came to the United Kingdom. Originally joining the Auxiliary Fire Service in 1939 he later joined the Royal Pioneer Corps as being an "Enemy Alien" and served as an Interpreter. He remained in the Army until he died in 1966; Sold together with a Photograph of him in mess uniform, Auxiliary Fire Service cloth patch and Sergeant's stripe from uniform
