The campaign of three awarded to Warrant Officer H. J. Jenkins, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, who was taken Prisoner of War while in France in June 1940 as part of the British Expeditionary Force, spending the remainder of the war 'in the bag'

Henry John Jenkins attested at Cardiff on 31 October 1924 having previously been a Coal Miner. He was serving as Platoon Sergeant Major (W.O.III) in France as part of the British Expeditionary Force and was taken Prisoner of War sometime between 10-27 June 1940. Jenkins was sent to Camp 344 (Stalag VIIIB) near Lamsdorf, Silesia, and was given the number 47916. He was discharged on 4 January 1946.
