Frederick Jones was born at Oswestry, Shropshire and entered the war on 23 July 1915 in France. Here he was twice seriously wounded, once by shrapnel to the head and left chest and once by gunshot wounds to the left arm and leg. He continued to serve being transferred to the Labour Corps, likely as a result of his wounds, and discharged on 20 March 1919.

Benjamin Jones was born in 1897 and entered the war in France on 3 November 1915.

Arthur Percy Jones was a native of Shrewsbury and enlisted there on 22 January 1915. Entering the war in France on 28 September 1915 with the 7th Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry he served with them until July 1917 when he transferred to the Royal Engineers. Jones was demobilised on 23 February 1919.
