General Service 1962-2007, 1 clasp, Radfan (RM. 21352 D. W. Snowball. Mne. R.M.), good very fine

David William Snowball was born on 23 December 1943 and was christened at Bradford in February 1945. He served with 45 Commando in the Radfan, during which his unit moved up the Wadi Boran to take the 'Sand Fly' and 'Coca Cola' features, before attacking into the Banaba Basin. 'X' Company also served with 3 Para through to Hawfi. Snowball was married at Lower Agbrigg in the Spring of 1971.
