Alfred Christmas enlisted on 21 July 1893 and died of disease at Heidelberg on 21 July 1901, he is commemorated upon the St James's Park north-east corner Memorial. The medal roll notes his Q.S.A. was issued to his father and is presumably unworn; sold together with copied medal rolls and registry of effects.
