Khedive's Star 1884-6 (20 H 2173), edge bruise, very fine

William Mills enlisted on 19 June 1883 and is listed as 'Det. in Suakin' between 15 March-31 May 1885, this being the Suakin Detachment. He is present on the muster rolls until 1 April 1890 but does not appear on the 1902 rolls. Entitled to the Egypt and Sudan Medal with a Suakin 1885 clasp only he does not appear to have been at Gemaizah or Toski nor had service during the Boer War; sold together with copied medal rolls and travel allowance list.
