(x) Indian Mutiny 1857-59, 1 clasp, Delhi (Alfd Turner. 9th Lancers), fitted with a contemporary top silver riband buckle, edge bruise, light contact wear, very fine

Alfred Turner is listed as stationed at Aldershot in 1861 with the service number 2065. He served with the 9th Lancers during the Indian Mutiny, in which time the Regiment was nicknamed the 'Delhi Spearmen' by the mutineers.
